Ocotillo On The Rocks: A Weekend of Offroad Adventure & Connection

This three-day extravaganza was packed with adrenaline-pumping trails, expert guidance, and invaluable opportunities for our VIP guests to connect, learn, and explore the great outdoors.
Day 1: Arrival & SetupÂ
Friday marked the official kickoff as attendees began rolling in at noon. With over 57 Sprinter Vans gracing the property, the air buzzed with excitement. Day one focused on settling in—setting up camp, meeting fellow enthusiasts, and gearing up for the adventure-packed weekend. Conversations sparked around shared experiences, stories of past adventures, and the collective anticipation of the trails ahead.Â
Day 2: Trail Adventures & Team BuildingÂ
Saturday began bright and early, with the aroma of muffins and a hearty egg bake greeting our guests at breakfast. Fueled and ready for action, attendees gathered for the morning trail briefing led by our expert guides: John, Chad, Jesus, and Jason. Here’s how the trail routes were mapped:Â
- John guided his group through Paloverde Wash, Fonts Point, Inspiration Point, and San Felipe Wash.Â
- Chad took the advanced group on a thrilling journey through Canyon Sin Nombre, Diablo Drop-off, and Fish Creek.Â
- Jesus and Jason led groups through the rugged yet rewarding terrain of Fish Creek.Â
By 9:15 a.m., engines roared to life, and the first group set off, followed closely by the others. Throughout the day, participants tested their off-roading skills with Agile Rip Kits, ARB Air Lockers, onboard air systems, and skid plates, navigating tricky terrain with confidence under expert instruction.Â
By mid-afternoon, as the groups returned to camp, the atmosphere was electric. Stories of challenging obstacles and incredible views were shared over cold drinks and appetizers. Â
The evening festivities kicked off with a barbecue feast featuring Jeff’s famous pulled pork sandwiches, followed by Agile trivia where winners scored exclusive swag bags. We also gave a warm shoutout to our international guests who traveled all the way from Vienna, Austria.Â
The night wrapped up with s’mores by the fire, music, and conversations that extended late into the night.Â
Day 3: Recovery Class & Final Trail RunÂ
Sunday morning brought a quieter, more relaxed start as attendees enjoyed breakfast at their leisure. Later, John hosted a hands-on recovery class, sharing essential tips on recovery gear and techniques—key skills for off-roading safety.Â
To close out the weekend, John and Chad led a final 50-mile trail run through iconic landscapes like Inspiration Point, Blow Sand Hill, San Felipe Wash, Fonts Point, and Paloverde Wash. The stunning vistas and challenging routes provided a fitting finale to an incredible weekend.Â
As the event came to an end, guests packed up their gear and bid farewell to new friends, leaving with unforgettable memories, improved skills, and a renewed passion for adventure.Â
A huge thank you to our VIP guests for making Ocotillo On The Rocks such a spectacular success. We can’t wait to hit the trails with you again soon!Â
Here’s to the next adventure—stay tuned!Â
