Outpost Vans
In 2017, that spark ignited an idea: to create a camper van rental service—think of it as an “Airbnb on wheels.” With their backgrounds in engineering and carpentry, Jeremy and Josh built their first van and launched the Outpost Vans website straight from Josh’s garage.
Within just a few days, the rental bookings started pouring in. By the end of the fourth day, their van was already booked for five rentals. This marked the beginning of Outpost Vans’ incredible journey.
Growth & Expansion
As demand skyrocketed, clients began asking, “Can you work on my van?” Jeremy and Josh couldn’t ignore the call. They started taking on small projects, and soon one client requested a complete build. That’s when they decided to officially offer full van builds as a service. Just like their rental venture, it only took a few days for the requests to flood in.
By 2019, Outpost Vans shifted its focus entirely to building custom vans. To elevate their game, they brought in specialists for various aspects of the build process, setting themselves apart from the competition.
Present Day
Today, Outpost Vans stands at the forefront of the van industry, renowned for their exceptional builds. They take vans straight from the dealership, transforming them from empty shells into fully customized adventure machines tailored to each customer’s needs.
What sets Outpost Vans apart is their unique approach: they prioritize comfort, capability, and serviceability in every detail of the build. By working closely with customers and recommending top-tier products like Agile, they ensure that every requirement is met, and every journey is exceptional.
Partnership
The partnership between Outpost Vans and Agile Offroad officially kicked off in 2021, but the relationship goes back even further. Outpost Vans has supported Agile since 2018, integrating their products into builds from the very start. Over the past five years, they’ve collaborated closely, with Agile’s RIP Kits, On-Board Air Systems, Skid Plates, Differential Covers, and Brakes making up about 90% of the products used at Outpost Vans.
Legacy & Impact
Outpost Vans is committed to solidifying its reputation as the go-to choice within the offroad van community. By continuing to partner with Agile Offroad and offering premium products, they aim to set the gold standard in the industry. Looking ahead, Outpost Vans plans to expand their headquarters in Oceanside, CA, in 2025, alongside introducing new Sprinter services, ensuring they remain a leader in the field.
