This Lucas Oil gear oil is what we recommend running with aftermarket gear sets such as the one included with the ARB Sprinter Rear Air Locker upgrade. 2.5 bottles (quarts) fill the differential.

Lucas 85W-140 gear oil is fortified with special anti-wear agents and lubricity agents to control wear and drag as well as special additives to control heat. This feature is not found in ordinary gear oils. This gear oil is both excellent for high performance vehicles and any heavy-duty applications where plain gear oils just aren’t good enough.
2.5 bottles (quarts) are required to fill the rear differential.
*For new ARB Sprinter Rear Air Locker installations a fluid change is recommended after the first 30 days or approximately 500 miles.
